Young Tribological Researcher Symposium
The Young Tribologists Working Group organizes the annual Young Tribological Researcher (YTR) Symposium at different universities each year. The international YTRS is designed to provide a platform for young tribologists.
The main focuses of the international symposium are the presentation of projects and theses by young tribologists from academia and industry, the discussion of tribological topics and ongoing research projects as well as the networking among young tribologists.
9th Young Tribological Researcher Symposium
The 9th YTR Symposium will take place in Garbsen and Hanover from 20th to 21st of July 2026. It will be hosted by the Institute of Machine Design and Tribology (IMKT) of the Leibniz University Hannover in cooperation with the RENK Bearings GmbH.
